Most of the children have been use to a particular workload at the previous level, and now cannot understand why there is an increase in the task assignment and work that they have to do, while their favourite routine of screen time has reduced. There is resistance, confusion, and sometimes intense frustration expressed by rejection and crying. It may take a while, but with professional tact and the experience that comes from having done this for years, we help them adjust and begin to take on their tasks in readiness for meeting the requirements for the next class.
