Kiddie Quest Montessori School began offering educational services in 1998. It was borne out of a desire of the proprietress that children in Nigeria deserved the same quality of education as children who were abroad, especially during their early and formative years. The desire, however, was not enough. As it had been customary with our proprietress, guidance by God and the Holy Spirit were the factors that would determine if the dream became a reality. After a year of praying about the idea and seeking guidance, she received the answers and the promise of heaven’s blessings upon the project, as well as the motto that would for years to come, define the culture of the school. It was at this time, in 1998 that the school opened its doors for the business of educating children; the proprietress’ daughter was registered as one of the first pupils, indicating her resolve to offer only quality and excellent services. Thus, Kiddie Quest Montessori School was born. For years, it operated as just a Nursery school providing Early Childhood Education services, but as with all things that thrive on standards and excellence, the need to extend the solid development of the children gave rise to the establishment of the primary section, which in turn facilitated the acquisition of a bigger space, and of course, more professional hands to guide the children’s development. Thus, once again, Kiddie Quest Montessori School, primary section was born.
